Volunteer Opportunities

We have teaching teams for each age group (age 2– Kindergarten). We attempt to staff each team with 4 adults so each teacher has a week off each month. We use Gospel Light curriculum, a fun, hands-on curriculum that is very teacher friendly and requires little preparation. Teachers are required to attend a security training session and quarterly training during the year.
We have teaching teams for each age group (1st–5th grade). We need at least 2 couples per grade. We use Gospel Light curriculum at the elementary level as well. Teachers are required to attend a security training session and quarterly teacher training. This year we will have a different program on the last Sunday of each month to give the teachers a break.
On the last Sunday of each month the elementary children will participate in a large group/small group time where they will learn about Jesus and the power of prayer, meet mighty men and women of the Bible, and learn how to live their faith in the real world. Volunteers can sign up to help once a month, once a quarter, or once a semester. Everything will be prepared for you: you just show up!
We need teams to lead preschool Children’s Worship once a month during the worship service. Children learn about God and his love through active praise music, puppet shows and Bible stories. We would love to have more adults join these teams. We also need volunteers in Children’s Worship for 1st-3rd graders. The children will go to worship with their families, and if the parents desire, be dismissed to Children’s Worship before the sermon. Volunteers will commit to lead Children’s Worship once a month. Leaders will lead a short service to reveal God’s truth in a way the children can understand.
Many loving hands are needed to hold and love our small precious ones during either Sunday school or worship.
This is a once a month commitment to attend the security/ registration desks outside the Nurturey and preschool areas. Volunteers check in visitors and assist parents as needed. Volunteers are needed during Sunday school and worship.
