What makes this conference different from other marriage retreats & conferences?
While we've found that most marriage conferences help us with outward things like enhancing communication, conflict resolution, date night, or "love languages"- there's a need to go deeper & get to internal heart change. Heart change precedes our actions, words, and deeds. This is where Dave brings a different voice.
What are Dave's qualifications & who would recommend him?
Among Dave's many qualifications are: a Doctorate in Biblical Counseling, serving as Chairman of the Board for the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation (CCEF), being a contributor to the ESV Men's Devotional Study Bible, a pastor for over 20 years, a husband for over 30 years- and a sinner all of his life!
Others who recommend Dave include popular pastors & speakers Randy Alcorn, Paul Tripp, David Powlison, & Jerry Bridges.
Who is this event for?
You know, you may hear "gospel" and think this is not for people who already believe in Jesus. Quite the opposite! We're never done growing in Christ & our need for the Cross. So this is event is for everyone- any age, walk of life, or faith!
